Mauritania – Nouakchott to Kiffa .. 612km

again another long tarmac day, this time passing through high dunes in the morning and an impressive mountain range in the afternoon. To pass the time we all swapped cars throughout the day and had fun in the process. As when I did the trip two years ago, there were lots of big horned cattle, camels, donkey and goats, both dead and alive by the road side. We arrived at a thorny campsite and proceeded to get spiked all night which hurt! The thorns were so bad two car had punctures in the camp.
