Bamako been good, party upon arrival with questionable local talent. Local markets amazing
Pentax team broke there screen today, whilst rich was driving it! half a hour later rich spotted a old 2cv in a village. upon closer inspection it had a good screen and boot handle which was also needed for the pentax car. these were carefully removed by us and obtained for 10 euros from friendly owner who still has great plans to repair cars engine and box and return to sevice. Elephant spotting tomorrow hopefully. sorry for lackof photos but connect increasingly poor. all good photos will be uploaded upon return. I have been qute ill with stomach upset as have most people on trip at some point. Feeling much better after some help from our fab doctor andrea. Have driven through burkina faso beautiful senery. sugar cane plantations. rock formations and bush fires being the highlghts. Really hot and humid even at night, both us and the car are cvered in thick red dust. given up washing it off.
