Blood, sweat and tears.

Richard would like to retract his statement of 'no problem' to 'big problems'. Much has happened since the last blog. This has included much blood , sweat and tears. The cold reality was that a full engine and gearbox switch was needed with less than a week till departure. Richard would like to take this opportunity to publicly apologise to his dad and everyone else concerned for forgetting to put oil in the newly rebuilt engine. This has resulted in lengthy debate among both experts and family. The decision was made on Tuesday night to do the switch, the donor engine and gearbox being Eleanor's much loved flame 2cv which has previously travelled to Sweden and most corners of the UK.
